GOSH // SS13 Collection

I was invited along to the GOSH sping/summer 2013 preview to see what they have coming out. It was this time last year that I really started going to events and I remember this was one of my first one's and I met some lovely bloggers. The ladies from GOSH are always so great too so I was really looking forward to seeing the new offerings. GOSH is one of the only high street brands I think has really great quality and have used their products way before I started blogging.  Their global makeup artist, Sidsel was giving makeovers to anyone and everyone, although I was a little late so I didnt have time to take the hotseat.

The first thing I would like to introduce as this is what excited me the most is the BB skin prefecting kits. There are two different palettes depeding on your skin tone....Light and Medium currently, hoping they will bring Dark out ASAP!! These are little trio compacts which has 2 skincare infused concealers and then a cream highlighter to give a glossy, dewy finish on the skin. The 'Light' palette has a silver type tone (think Jemma Kidd Dewy glow 01 / High Beam) and the 'Medium' palette has a more golden highlighting cream (think Jemma Kidd Dewy glow 02 / NARS south beach). These concealers are quite light in texture, they have a balmy feel, so for me, not for the full cover. These are more suited for light evening-out of the skintone and definately for around the eye area.

Makeup Artist Tip: You should use two concealer shades on your face, one for the face, and a warmer tone for under the eye area/ bits of redeness to correct! I always wear two different tones of concealer everyday, makes a huge difference. If you wear the same tone and you have dark circles, it can go a grey-ish colour under the eyes, so please try a peachier tone and see the difference! This is why these kits are great as they already have the two tones you will need.

Another exciting product which I am trial-ing now is the lash growth serum and the lash growth mascara.  Now I have reviewed and discussed these types of products before, but if this does really work (give me a few weeks to feed back to you!) then this will be such a bargain in comparison to the £60 growth boost mascaras that I have been using. I'm hoping that it does what it says on the tin.

New nail shades include a few sparkly ones, some blues and a bright coral and probably my favourite by the most seemingly 'boring' which is the pale cream nude 'Highschool Flirt'. I love this colour to make the nails look really clean and polished. Non-offensive and classic! Here, I have mixed it with a bit of another new shade 'Girls on Film' which is a sparkly pink blend, and I love this combination. One thing I notice about GOSH polishes is how quick they are to try which is a godsend for people like me.

Also new is 'The Ulimate Eyeliner' which is a twist-up eyeliner, so no need for sharpening, and these, after trying them, last really, really well! Currently three shades of these. There is also two new shades of the velvet touch eyeliner.

These launched in stores yesterday so have a look when you can and let me know what you think.
